Cool Bean Coffee's Mission To You!

To all our future and existing customers...

Our mission is to do our best to provide an environment where our customers feel relaxed and at home while being able to enjoy a great fair trade cup of coffee with exceptional service.

At Cool Beans we want our customers to not only enjoy our coffee but all our other amenities that you don't normally see at coffee shops.   We want your experience to be different with us, and we will strive to  do everything to make that possible.

A little more about us....
If you happen to stroll in on a Thursday night, you will be entertained by a showcase of local talent. Thursday night is Open Mic night from 7-10pm. Sign ups start at 6:30pm and the list fills up FAST. There are always various forms of self expression ranging anywhere from comedy, spoken word, poetry, music and the occasional tap dancer.

Cool Beans has transformed from a 1950's old coffee shop to a now cozy cafe, intimate music venue each weekend. Every Friday and Saturday night, you can enjoy a live acoustic concert from one of the many talented singer song writers in the Tri State area, as well as national touring acts. Get there early, as seats are first come, first serve.

Stop by any day of the week to peruse the art on the wall (all local artists), bring your laptop and make use of the free WIFI, or just bring your appetite and get yourself a delicious bowl of soup or
something sweet from our tempting selection of baked goods.

Coffee. Espresso. Cappuccino. Latte. Macchiato. If any of these words are music to your ears then you will understand the passion behind the business that Cool Beans is running. We are obsessively committed to producing the finest and the freshest cup of java you have ever tasted. Coffee has been the preferred method of caffeine consumption for over 500 years. After all, coffee is the second most popular commodity traded (next to oil). It employs millions of families worldwide. Few products we use require so much in terms of human effort. Every single coffee cherry is hand picked from a coffee tree.  It takes approx. 2000 cherries to produce one pound of coffee. A good picker averages approximately 100 to 200 lbs of coffee cherry a day.  The owners of Cool Beans have partnered with Trans Fair to assure their customers that every farmer was paid a fair wage for his harvest. Cool Beans takes pride in selling Fair Trade coffee to its customers.

When deciding where to buy your coffee, what would you say you value most? Variety? Cleanliness? Dependability? Taste? Friendly staff? The owners, family run ask, “Why choose? At Cool Beans, we guarantee to meet all of your highest standards because they are ours too!”

We are passionate about coffee, food, music, art, life, the environment, and you!  Please stop in and say hello! We can't wait to meet you!
